Private Jet Charter

Private Jets in The Future

As commercial jetliners collapse under security threats, fuel costs, interminable delays and a passenger revolt at the crowded conditions, it seems clear that business flyers will be looking in another direction to fill their travel needs.

After all, time is money…and dealing with standard air providers often consumes an inordinate amount of both. When large deals hinge on a timely arrival at a meeting where every details weighs heavily, the cost of a delay cannot be calculated.

The bottom line is, well, the bottom line, and increasingly, executives in an international economy require more reliability than mass transport can provide. Fortunately, the focus has returned to the small and mid-size private jet, and several companies now offer light aircraft at a price which is competitive when compared with the expense of trusting your important appointments to poorly managed jumbo jets.

Of course, not every company can afford to own a plane, even at the “low” cost of $1M or so that the new generation of micro-jets, such as the Eclipse 500, can be acquired for. While this price is just a fraction of the multi-million dollar cost that plane-shoppers are used to, many business will be simply unable to justify that sort of expenditure.

Fortunately, there will be no need-as a variety of private charter services are now offering limousine-style flight services for the needs of corporate and personal fliers. More and more, the future of flight will edge away from prescheduled flights which run either overbooked or wastefully empty, toward custom flight plans which eliminate the need for transfer delays and the other inconveniences of depending on passenger airlines.
